Bountiful Bluff Harvest

My first attempt at gardening in Bluff, Utah paid off handsomely, especially the Hopi watermelon.  We have picked over 30 melons so far and more are still on the vine ripening.  The secret?  I amended the clay soil with a couple bags of commercial compost, hired a young fellow to water three times per week, and then I left town for most of the summer.  Worked like a charm.
